What other way then to really get to know a person but to spend a week in close confines together? By the time February rolled around, 6 months into the relationship, Dad and I took the whole family on vacation. We opted to rent a house instead of hotel rooms. Now this house was great. Great views of the ocean complete with whale sightings, pool, hot tub, 3 bedrooms....one of which had twin beds. Guess who got that room?

Learning to play hearts. And fitting in very nicely with the fam. In fact, he was family at this point. We fell in love with him very easily.
